Rodney Thompson is a co-founder and Managing Member of Growth Equity Ventures, LLC.
Rodney oversees the company’s acquisitions and business development activities. He also co-directs Growth Equity Ventures’ overall investment strategy. He brings over 35 years of experience in general management and new business development to the company.
Before Growth Equity Ventures, Rodney was an Information Security Professional with Winona State University, where he worked with the Data Security Department. He was responsible for the strategic planning, development, and administration of an effective information security program that protected the university’s data systems.
Before WSU, Rodney was the founder and president of Digital River Communications, Inc., a managed service provider of server, infrastructure, and endpoint hardware and software.
Before Digital River Communications, Rodney worked as a systems administrator and consultant with A.S.S.I.S.T., Inc.
Rodney graduated summa cum laude from DeVry University with a degree in Business Management.
Daniel Holmlund is a co-founder of Growth Equity Ventures, LLC.
Daniel oversees the company’s overall investor relations and asset management. He brings over 22 years of experience to GEV investing in alternative assets. These investments have been instrumental in creating generational wealth and passive income for many affluent investors.
With over $160MM of assets currently under management, Daniel brings unprecedented experience and access to investing in private placements and funds. Bringing over 25 years of experience in management and new business development experience, Daniel is a great asset to GEV.
Before Growth Equity Ventures, Daniel was a Software Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision at Intel Corporation. He was responsible for analyzing data and writing algorithms to deliver products and customer engagement.
Before Intel, Daniel volunteered in France with a non-profit that worked with Algerian immigrants that migrated to France.
Before that, Daniel worked for Bank of America on Foreign Currency Transaction software.
Before BofA, Daniel was a trader on the Chicago Board of Trade floor, providing liquidity in the 10-year bond pit.
Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Minor in Economics from the University of California at a period after Davis.
Patrick Dwyer is a co-founder of Growth Equity Ventures, LLC.
Patrick oversees the company’s acquisitions and broker relations. He brings over five years of investing experience to GEV many years of experience in sales and customer relations, making Patrick well-suited to oversee company relations.
Before joining Growth Equity Ventures, Patrick participated in over $80MM in transactions bringing extensive acquisition experience in private placements and funds. Coupling his acquisition experience with over 15 years in management and new business development, Patrick is a valued member of GEV.
Before Growth Equity Ventures, Patrick was the head of national sales for Datacenter Certified. He was responsible for sourcing and deploying IT assets globally to a large sector of businesses.
Before Datacenter Certified, Patrick was an account executive for DTEN. He engaged with new and existing customers to help them communicate and collaborate through digital communications hardware.
Before DTEN, Patrick worked as an account manager for Xerox in Colorado.
Patrick graduated summa cum laude from Concordia University Chicago with a degree in Business Management.
Seth Bradley is the Chief Legal Officer of Growth Equity Ventures, LLC.
As a real estate attorney, investor, and broker, Seth has closed billions of dollars in real estate transactions. Seth is involved with the company’s overall investment strategy, business development, and investor relations and oversees legal and compliance oversight. He brings over 15 years of experience in general management and new business development to the company. Seth focuses his efforts on maximizing investor returns through strategic partnerships, risk mitigation, and creative deal structuring.
Seth has represented real estate developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and financial institutions in all types of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development, across a full gamut of asset types, including hospitality, multifamily, industrial, office, and retail.
Previously, Seth practiced law in the real estate and securities departments of three Am Law 200 firms, including most recently a top 3 globally ranked law firm.
Seth graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law and has his Master of Business Administration degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
He resides in sunny San Diego with his beautiful wife and two dogs, where they enjoy surfing, hiking, biking, and traveling.
